Hello to the Airsoft Community!!
It is with much anxiety that we are reaching out to you for your help. I will try to be as brief and concise as possible with this letter.
As some of you may know, we were reported for having too many shipping containers on our property and the Weld County Planning and Building Department was going to shut us down. Evidently, for this subdivision only one was allowed. Really we blame ourselves for this, we should have asked for and received approval first. We knew we could not add mobile homes so we though shipping containers would work great instead. We were wrong.
Luckily, the Weld County B&P Department said we could apply for a Use by Special Review permit. We have submitted all our plans and documents along with the application. They have sent letters to the surrounding neighbors to announce the Public Hearing that will be coming up. At these public hearings the County Commissioners will make the final approval or disapproval of our request. If they disapprove then we will stop operation of GoAirheads immediately. If they approve, life will continue as is for you and your kids, though on our side the fees will greatly increase. We understand this and are willing to accept this as long as we can keep our doors open.
So knowing all this, here is what we need… We need YOU. We need you to show up to both of these public hearings giving your support for GoAirheads to stay open. This really is our last and biggest hurdle. If you can only choose one hearing to attend the April 1st hearing will be the most important, for that is the date that the board will make their final ruling… HOWEVER, both dates are significant factors in their decision.

Both of these Hearings will be taking place in the
Administartion Building at:
1150 O St. Greeley, Co. 80631
*Please do not come in your camouflage/gear. This is a Public Hearing that we want to present ourselves in a way to present the airsoft community well. Also, the more people the better. Please bring friends, parents, kids, grandparents and anyone else that would be willing to support GoAirheads.

wow i cant believe that Weld is being this stupid i cant even believe that there has to be a permit for a bunch of metal boxes in a field i hope that the hearing goes well and that go airheads can continue to be the best air soft field in Colorado
I wish Rilly badly that I cold come and support Go Air Heads. It was the first place I played and it is burned into my head as one of the best days of my life but both days of the hearings I have school. I am so sorry but I wish you luck. P.S this sucks even more becaus I finely found the battery to my gun and even got some custom made dog tags.
As a US Citizen and US Army Veteran, i say that Weld County needs to choose their priorities. Who cares if you use Shipping Containers for tunnels and bunkers, its an Airsoft game not a drug ring, or a Shipping yard for illegals, its better then have shopping containers then mobile homes. They shouldn’t even charge you more money for having containers on your land, its a business for people to come and hang out and play a nice competitive game of Airsoft.
